Implementation of “Intelligent system for automatic inspection and continuous diagnostics of conveyor belt condition” project produced the following results:


 1. Both hardware and software requirements were established for parts used in conveyor belt core diagnostics as well as for signal and statistical analysis module.

 2. Information was gathered about global solutions for both belt cut and belt cord damage detection. The obtained results were analyzed, an economical evaluation was performed and best solutions for potential clients were chosen. Also, own solution was proposed regarding rip detection and belt cord damage detection.

 3. An automatic system for steel-cord core belt diagnostics was developed.

 4. A monitoring system was designed for belt core condition diagnostics.

 5. A machine vision system was developed for belt inspection based on video images.

 6. A measurement system was developed for belt rip detection.
